Your ultimate guide to keeping your sheets looking and feeling fresh.

How often should I wash them?

You want to wash your sheets roughly every week to keep them looking their best. Remember your bedding will keep getting better after every wash.

Which washing machine cycle do I use?

Wash on a cool or warm cycle (30C-40C), and line-dry naturally to preserve fibres, colours and help the environment while you’re at it.

Do I really need to separate colours and whites?

Our sheets come pre-washed so you don't need to worry about any dye leaking and ruining your lucky white socks.

Can I use a dryer?

Line drying is ideal for leaving your laundry outdoor-fresh and almost crease-free, but using a tumble dryer on a low heat and low tumble cycle also works.

What’s the best way to iron my sheets?

Those of you that love your sheets crisp and neat know that ironing bedding can be a chore at the best of times. We recommend ironing sheets while they’re slightly damp using a good steam iron.

Where do I keep my back-up sets?

Natural fibres like cotton need to breath.

Find a dry, cool spot in a cupboard outside of direct sunlight. Avoid plastic containers as these will trap moisture and encourage mildew.

All our bedding arrives in cotton totes which just happen to make excellent storage bags.

Replacement

Sadly, frequent washing will eventually break down even the highest quality sheets. If you see signs of ageing like fading colours, fraying hems or stains it’s time to refresh your sheets.

Replace your pillowcases every year, as oils from your skin and hair, makeup, moisturisers, etc. transfer to the fabric while you sleep.
